Again Idol will be giving back...to Africa. Idol will hold another special (can you say publicity stunt?) in April. Sure enough the celebrity list will most likely double from last year. Brad Pitt, Bono, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, and Carrie Underwood are among the celebs listed so far.
I've pointed this out before...you have these multi millionaire celebrities putting on benefits urging YOU, the average hard working Joe, to donate money to help a child in Africa. Bono, Pitt, and Jolie are the so called ambassadors to these causes. Yet Bono wears expensive sunglasses and name brand clothing as he urges you to donate. It's like FUCK YOU BONO, why don't you donate your expensive a$$ gear and a few of your millions to the cause? Jacka$$. At least Pitt and Jolie know better and dress down when they're asking money from you. All these celebrities and their self righteous acts are to funny. The new age hippies.
People that have been donating for years probably don't even know that most of their donations don't go the kids they are trying to save. You know who it goes to? The warlords. People like Nelson Mandela who rob the poor for their own benefits. Warlords that keep their people starving so that they will be more compliant. Who use the money to buy more weapons for their meaningless wars.
Why do you think that kid behind Simon in the picture has a concerned look on his face? Because he knows if people give millions and millions, than his chances of dying in a crossfire grows. It's a sad reality, it's a way of life over in Africa. It's God's demented will. You're money can't help them, only God can take the suffering he has put on the people of Africa.
