Rapper Nas believes that hip hop is dead...I don't think hip hop will ever die out completely, but it is dying. Thanks to the commercialism of so called hip hop artists today. Their songs have become catchy and gimicky. As opposed to the beginning when hip hop was meaningful. Back then it was a vehicle to convey a message to the world. Now it’s a sales pitch to sell you a product.
Will hip hop ever be the same? Only when it dies and starts again from the beginning. Then and only then will it have a chance to be how it once was.
